Stopped on the way into Joshua Tree National Park and so glad we did! Great service, outstanding lunch choices and even a sweet treat for the road. Well worth visiting for a friendly and delicious meal!!
This place was exactly as good as I was hoping it was based on the photos and reviews. I got a burger but ended up being jealous of my partner's pizza. I'd probably get pizza if I came back. His was so good I stole a piece! The atmosphere was also really nice for a small town restaurant.
Amazing food and service!! Def a great place to stop on your way in or out of Joshua tree. Suzanne was super friendly and helpful. The fried chicken sandwich was one of the best I’ve had- and I’ve had a lot! Plus chunk, the local roadrunner and mascot is so cute. Thankful we found this spot. Plus such a great name!!
Everything here is awesome. Service is friendly. The dining area and restroom are clean. The food is fresh and delicious. We had pastrami burger, Caesar salad, chicken nuggets, cheesy bread, and the toffee cake for dessert. Everything was top-notch, but that toffee cake was on the next level. Save room for dessert. If we were locals, we'd be regulars.
My friend and I had such a great experience at Small Town Grill! The service was excellent, and the servers were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. The food was delicious and served promptly, with great attention to detail. It’s rare to find a place where both the food and service are top-notch, but Small Town Grill exceeded our expectations. The place was incredibly clean as well! We’ll definitely be coming back!
Vacationing in the area and stopped in for lunch on 4.26.24 after hiking in Joshua Tree and Wow everything was amazing. We ordered the Hummus, teriyaki wings and the Konrad pizza. Huge bowl of hummus with fresh Mediterranean toppings, nice big wings, and a nicely topped and tasty pizza. Staff very friendly and attentive. Dining area and restrooms clean. Highly recommend.
Great food on the way back from Joshua Tree to LA. I tasted the veggie pizza and had a pastrami on sourdough sandwich. Pizza and sandwich were excellent! Fries needs a bit more crunch, but overall great food. We were in the back patio - nice and calm atmosphere.
Stopped here on the way to Joshua Tree and everything we ordered was delicious. We got an Italian sub that was big enough to share, fried pickles (battered in corn meal to NOT-greasy perfection), a cheeseburger and a pepperoni pizza. The staff was accommodating, attentive and friendly! Will definitely be back when we come out this way again!
